♥ A Child's View of Thunderstorms

I received this cute and encouraging email from a friend just yesterday morning. And i want to share this to you guys for you to be inspired and encouraged just like what it did to me.

So here it goes...

Though the weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to school.

As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with lightning.

The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school.

She also feared the electrical storm might harm her child.

Full of concern, the mother got into her car and quickly drove along the route to her child's school.

As she did, she saw her little girl walking along.

At each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up, and smile.

More lightning followed quickly and with each, the little girl would look at the streak of light and smile.

When the mother drew up beside the child, she lowered the window and called, "What are you doing?"

The child answered, "I am trying to look pretty because God keeps taking my picture."

It made me think of the storms that had gone and the storms that are to be coming on my way (not the literal meaning of storm). And It made me smile, thinking that God only wants to see how i reacted or over-reacted with those storms that i had. I admit that most of the times I haven't projected my best smile to Him, I over-reacted and almost gave up. But each time i think that everything happened is with a purpose, it relieved me and shared my burden with Him. One thing that assures me is, God will never leave me nor forsake me.

I din't post this entry just because "My Bukas Pa" (a top-rating teleserye that reminds us of God's greatness and providence) has ended last night. But I want you guys to keep on remembering Him each and everyday and commit our lives unto Him.

May God bless you today and every day as you face the storms that come your way!
